I feel very small after spending some time looking at these great photos. These series of photos are a great commentary on how we have built the world in which we live and that we have forgotten that we used to live in a world that was “created” long before we learnt how to “decreate” it. There are only a few trees and glimpses of sky and water that remind us of what used to be. There are homes and then there are concrete, rebar, and glass beehives. #1 is my personal fav.

I spent some time in Hong Kong some years back – your sentiment about the differences is right on the money, they seem like worlds trapped within concrete. It’s a really interesting series. Thanks for your thoughts.
